Since 2009, Aquasolve has been West Africa's trusted partner for water filtration media, treatment chemicals, and system design โ delivering solutions that work in the realities of African water infrastructure.
Aquasolve Water Technology Ltd was founded in Accra in 2009 by water treatment professionals who had spent years working in Ghana's water sector โ and who understood the gap between what international suppliers promised and what actually worked in West African conditions.
We started with a simple conviction: African water infrastructure deserves solutions designed for African water chemistry. Not repurposed products from temperate climates. Not generic catalogues. But treatment media, membrane chemicals, and system designs tested against the realities of borehole iron, low pH, high turbidity, and supply chain constraints.
Today, Aquasolve supplies water treatment solutions to sachet water plants, municipal utilities, industrial facilities, mining operations, and WASH programmes across eight West African countries. Our clients include some of Ghana's largest water producers, multinational mining companies, and faith-based community water programmes in rural districts.
But we remain what we started as: practitioners first, suppliers second.
We supply four premium product lines โ pHSolve (calcite media), AquanOX (iron & manganese removal), AquaCarb (activated carbon), and AquaChem (membrane chemicals and coagulants). Every product is selected and tested for West African water profiles.
Learn More โComprehensive physico-chemical and microbiological water testing from basic screening panels to full industrial analysis. We diagnose the problem before recommending the solution โ no guesswork, no overselling.
Learn More โFrom RO plants to iron removal systems to complete treatment trains โ we design, supply, and commission water treatment infrastructure at any scale. Municipal, industrial, or packaged water applications.
Learn More โThe Aquasolve College of Science and Technology (ACST) delivers professional water treatment training for plant operators, engineers, and WASH practitioners across 14 structured programmes.
Learn More โWe recommend what works โ not what we have in stock. If your water challenge requires a solution we don't supply, we'll tell you where to get it.
Every recommendation starts with water testing. We don't prescribe treatment media based on assumptions or anecdotes โ we diagnose first, then design.
Our products are selected for West African water chemistry: acidic boreholes, high iron, variable turbidity, and supply chain realities. Not one-size-fits-all imports.
We don't just install systems and walk away. Our training programmes, technical documentation, and ongoing support ensure local teams can operate and maintain what we build.
If a system underperforms, we come back to diagnose and fix it. Our reputation is built on results โ not just sales.
Through the Aquasolve Foundation, we extend clean water access to underserved communities using the same rigorous standards we apply to commercial projects.

Founder and Managing Director of Aquasolve Water Technology Ltd. Holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Ghana and a BA in Theology from the University of Cape Coast. Joseph bridges technical water treatment expertise with strategic vision in water governance, policy, and faith-based WASH stewardship.
Under his leadership, Aquasolve has grown from a startup to West Africa’s trusted partner for water treatment solutions, serving clients across eight countries. His unique background in theology and international relations informs Aquasolve’s commitment to sustainable water access and community-centred approaches. Joseph founded the Aquasolve Foundation, extending clean water access to underserved communities through faith-based water boards and WASH programs.
Joseph is a published author and thought leader at the intersection of water governance, international relations, and environmental stewardship. His notable publications include “When the Tap Runs Dry” a policy white paper examining infrastructure centralisation and resilience in water systems, and “Prophets or Profiteers?” โ an article exploring the role of religious leaders in addressing illegal mining (galamsey) and water contamination in Ghana. His work has been featured in academic and practitioner-facing platforms, positioning Ghana as a knowledge-exporting model in African WASH governance.
Joseph’s long-term ambition extends beyond water treatment alone. He envisions a career bridging peace, religion, governance, and international policy โ using water security as an entry point for addressing broader questions of resource governance, conflict prevention, and faith-based environmental stewardship. He is committed to positioning Aquasolve not merely as a commercial enterprise but as a platform for practitioner-scholarship that contributes to policy debates on water security, self-determination, and sustainable development in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Oversees all technical operations, system design, and quality assurance at Aquasolve. Amosun brings over 27 years of experience in the borehole drilling industry and civil engineering, having worked in the field since 1997.
