The FiltraCera Advantage

FiltraCera is a sintered clay ceramic media engineered for water filtration applications requiring high surface area, low density, and long service life. Unlike traditional sand and anthracite media, FiltraCera's lightweight ceramic structure reduces backwash requirements and allows for deeper bed depths without excessive structural loading.

The porous ceramic surface provides an ideal substrate for biofilm growth in biological aerated filters (BAF) and moving bed biofilm reactors (MBBR). In physical filtration applications, FiltraCera delivers turbidity removal comparable to multimedia filters at 40% lower weight.
